Fees
and appointments
Appointments are available Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday during the day
and Tuesday and Thursday weeknights after 6pm.
The initial appointment will include
a comprehensive assessment. This will enable us to work together to assess
your needs, set goals and work out the best way to manage and improve your situation.
All appointments
will be 50-55 minutes each and the fee for these appointments ranges from $120.00 to $150.00 per session.
You do not need a referral for an appointment (unless you are coming under
the Medicare Scheme) – so please feel free to call or email Natalie about appointment times.
During the sessions there will
be many opportunities for you to review the progress of your therapy and for you to provide feedback. This is to ensure
that your needs are met.
Medicare Scheme
All our Psychologists are registered
providers with Medicare. The Medicare scheme allows treatment for certain types of problems to be covered under
Medicare. This includes anxiety disorders, depression, psychotic disorders, bipolar disorders, adjustment disorders,
sexual disorders, conduct disorders, bereavement, post traumatic stress disorders, eating disorders, sleep problems and
attention deficit disorders. Please see your GP to see if you think you might meet the criteria for a referral
under Medicare.
If
you are referred by your GP under the Medicare Scheme you will need your GP to provide a written referral to Natalie
or Transformations Clinical Psychology. You will then be able to claim back between $78.00 and $115.00 per session from Medicare
for up to 12 sessions. Under this scheme you will need to see your GP for a review after 6 sessions.
