Amy Wang 

Consultant / CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST rEGISTRAR / Registered Psychologist

Amy is a Registered Psychologist and Clinical Psychology Registrar with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She holds a Master of Clinical Psychology from the University of Technology Sydney and an Advanced Graduate Diploma in Psychology from Monash University. She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and has served on the APS College of Clinical Psychologists (NSW) committee since 2022.

Amy brings a compassionate, evidence-based approach to therapy and is dedicated to creating a supportive environment where clients feel empowered to explore their thoughts, emotions, and challenges. She sees therapy as a collaborative process and values connection, emotional safety, and curiosity as the foundation for psychological growth. Drawing on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Amy tailors treatment to each client’s individual needs. Her focus is on helping clients build insight, resilience, and meaningful change aligned with their values and goals.

Amy has worked across private practice, specialist research clinics, and hospital settings. She has experience supporting adolescents and adults with anxiety disorders, depression, chronic pain, complex trauma, work-related stress, low self-esteem, and relationship difficulties. 

Before training as a psychologist, Amy worked in the corporate sector in technology consulting and sales. This experience informs her practical, strengths-based approach and enhances her work with professionals navigating workplace stress, burnout, and career transitions. Amy is passionate about building strong therapeutic relationships and supporting clients in developing clarity, confidence, and a deeper understanding of themselves. Amy speaks Mandarin and English.
